Managing approximately 200 million acres in 60 countries, WCS is committed to protecting endangered species such as elephants, tigers, and penguins through a combination of scientific research, targeted conservation strategies, policy advocacy, and community engagement.

We commit 1% of our profits to initiatives that yield social benefits. While the needs are vast, we prioritize three key areas: wildlife preservation, forest conservation, and child education.

Founded in 1988, Rainforest Trust is a leading organization committed to the protection of rainforests and tropical habitats worldwide. The organization combats deforestation and habitat destruction by partnering with local communities, conservation groups, and governments to safeguard critical ecosystems. Through strategic funding, Rainforest Trust establishes protected reserves, supports legal land protections, and promotes community-led conservation initiatives.

These efforts have led to the preservation of over 37 million acres across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Pacific, providing sanctuary for endangered species such as the Amazon's jaguars and Southeast Asia’s unique orchids. By prioritizing high-threat conservation areas, Rainforest Trust effectively enhances global biodiversity and strengthens environmental resilience.

Our Commitment

Forest conservation is vital to preserve biodiversity, combat climate change by storing carbon, protect water resources, and maintain ecosystem services that support wildlife and human communities. This ensures a sustainable and healthy environment for future generations.
